AirExplore Leases Boeing 737-800 from ACG with Possibility to Deploy to Africa

AirExplore, has leased a B737-800 from Aviation Capital Group (ACG) to join its fleet. With demand for its services increasing, AirExplore says it is now “weighing up different options to deploy this new aircraft, including possibilities in Europe, the Middle East or Africa.”

AirExplore’s CEO Martin Štulajter said: “Our plan for the fleet is to deploy 50% of it on year-long contracts, while retaining the other 50% for seasonal contracts during high demand periods. We are ready to meet our customers’ needs in a various regions, and securing this B737-800 provides us with the additional flexibility we need to do so.”

AirExplore confirms that its new B737-800 “ comes in a single-class 189Y seat configuration”, takes its fleet  B737-800 to 9 passenger aircraft and 2 freighters.

According to the airline, “the acquired B737-800 has successfully completed all required inspections and maintenance checks before joining the AirExplore fleet.” With crews fully trained on this aircraft type, AirExplore says it is prepared to deliver comprehensive ACMI services immediately.

“With ongoing aircraft shortages in the market and persistent delivery delays, adding a passenger aircraft gives us a strategic advantage. The demand for ACMI services remains strong, and this expansion allows us to offer reliable solutions,” said Martin Štulajter.
