Air Mauritius Appoints Managing Committee, Parts Way with Charles Cartier

Following the non-re-election of Mr Charles Cartier as a Director on the Board of Directors of Air Mauritius Limited at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders, Air Mauritius says “Mr Cartier ceases to be the Chief Executive Officer of the Company with immediate effect.”

Pending the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, the airline says its Board of Directors “has appointed a Managing Committee with executive powers comprising Mr Kremchand (Kishore) Beegoo, Chairman, Mr Suresh Seeballuck, G.O.S.K., Director and Mr Appalsamy (Dass) Thomas, G.O.S.K., Director.”

Air Mauritius says: “the Board has given the Managing Committee the power to co-opt such person in Senior Management, as may be required.”
